CeCe Winans does not slow down!  Her motivation is that she wants the world to know who God is and for people to allow God to do what only He can do.

In CeCe’s own words, “If you are hurting, feeling alone, contemplating on giving up or know someone who is?  I created this CD full of songs of encouragement, comfort, healing and love to lift all those who are feeling down for whatever reason. The Bible says whenever King Saul was being tormented by distressing spirits, he would call for a young shepherd boy named David who was skillful and anointed to play the harp for him, and Saul would become refreshed and well, and the distressing spirit would depart from him (1 Samuel 16:23). As you listen to these Songs of Emotional Healing, allow God to do what only He can do and Be Healed!”

Although Songs of Emotional Healing is a cd of past recordings CeCe’s intent was to make available something that in the midst of all of the chaos the world seems to be experiencing could minister calm in the midst of a storm.  (available in stores and on Itunes now) Check out the vide below.

Additionally, CeCe was a guest at Music City Keep on Playin’ at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN along with Martina McBride, Brad Paisley, Keith Urban, Lady Antebellum and others to raise money for flood victims in Tennessee, where Winans resides.  The special aired on GAC and raised more than $1.5 million.  CeCe will also serve as co-host along with Donald Lawrence for the 2010 Verizon How Sweet The Sound, Best Church Choir in America Competition.  Choirs will compete in 14 markets, for more information and to see if your choir can participate visit www.howsweetthesound.com and to see if CeCe and BeBe and CeCe are performing in your city near you visit www.cecewinans.com.
