Bishop Joseph WalkerCongratulations to Dr.Joseph W. Walker, III, (Senior Pastor of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Nashville) and Dr. Stephanine Michelle Hale (Neonatologist, Harvard Medical Center)!

They will marry on Saturday, May 23rd at 2:30 EST.
 
Bishop Paul S. Morton will perform the ceremony.

The bride is a neonatologist at Harvard Medical Center in Boston.  She is a graduate of Vanderbilt University.  She received her MPH from Harvard and her M.D. from Cornell Medical School.  In July, she will transition to Vanderbilt University as Assistant Professor of Pediatrics and Neonatology.  She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Hale of Los Angeles who owned and operated day care centers in California.( http://www.commonwealthfund.org/Content/Fellowships/Minority-Health-Policy-Fellowship/2006-2007-Fellows/Stephanie-Hale.aspx )

The bridegroom is Sr. Pastor at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Nashville, TN, where he has grown the membership from 175 to over 22,000 members in his 17 years of service. (www.josephwalker3.org )
