Nashville, TN,  October 3rd, 2008 –   Hillsong London, a sister church of  Australia’s largest evangelical congregation, the Sydney-based Hillsong Church, will release their fourth recording Hail to the King this October 28th via Integrity Music.  The studio album features thirteen brand new songs led by worship pastor Peter Wilson, two of which were co-written with GRAMMY Award winner Israel Houghton.

HIllsong London has previously recorded three albums including Shout God’s Fame, Jesus Is and Jesus Is re:mix, a critically-acclaimed, techno-influenced take on worship music.  The newest installment, Hail to the King, captures the dynamic, life-filled worship with the accompanying live video footage Hail to the King Live Performance DVD available early 2009  The video was directed by Hamish Hamilton who has worked with The Rolling Stones, U2, and Britney Spears.

The Hillsong London worship team is fronted by worship leader Peter Wilson and includes team members Jay Cook, Dave George, Michelle Grigg and Dakri Brown, a former member of the GRAMMY winning worship act Israel and New Breed.  The band has toured the US in the past, including appearances with Joyce Meyer Ministries, and will return to the US in spring.

In the church’s decade-year history, Hillsong London has grown from 100 people to over 6,000 in regular attendance at Central London’s Dominion Theatre in the West End.  Together with their Aussie sister church, the two congregations have sponsored over 4,000 children in Uganda, India, and Rwanda.  Hillsong London aims to encourage people to worship with open hearts, encounter God and be empowered in such a way as to impact the world around them.
