| WADL TV 38 Will Broadcast a Series of Live Debates With the Final 18 Candidates |

WADL TV 38 will remain true to its promise to provide Detroiters with an open, informed and uncompromised political debate series. Eighteen candidates have been voted by Detroiters as the most feasible candidates to lead the city of Detroit towards restoration. "Our commitment to providing the community with an up-close and personal look at candidates continues to be a priority for the station," states Lewis Gibbs, President WADL TV 38. On Thursday, October 15th, 2009, WADL will begin a three-part debate series. The series will feature six candidates per debate and will be televised live on WADL. All eighteen candidates will receive an official invitation to debate the issues that are of the utmost concern to Detroiters. On August 20th all candidates will be invited to the WADL studios to draw numbers for their debate date. The scheduled debates are Thursday, October 15th a 9:00PM, Thursday, October 22nd at 9:00PM, and Thursday, October 29th at 9:00PM.
