Tye TribbettOver the past few years GOD TV and TeenMania have partnered to air radical youth programming including coverage of stadium events such as 'BattleCry' from different US cities. Now this mass rally is being broadcast LIVE and exclusive from New York City on April 17-18th as GOD TV televises the two-day event across the USA and the globe.

Supported by hundreds of churches throughout the Tri- State area, BattleCry NY aims to provoke young people to eagerly pursue Jesus Christ and take His life-giving message to the nations. In addition to messages from TeenMania founder Ron Luce, the program line-up includes high profile Christian leaders, Jentezen Franklin and Erwin McManus. Youth bands and artists include: Unhindered; the Tri-State Mass Youth Choir; Israel and New Breed; Jeremy Camp; Lecrae; Tye Tribbett; Nubian Gents; and Spoken Word.

While the final line-up is subject to change, viewers can expect to be rocked off their feet on Friday April 17th with a grand opening featuring Spoken Word and the Mass Youth Choir. Unhindered will lead worship and drama vignettes will be presented, offering a modern-day portrayal of what it would be like if Jesus walked the Earth today. Then, special guest, Jentezen Franklin will challenge teens to live unashamedly for Christ. Jenetzen is the Senior Pastor of Free Chapel in Gainesville, Georgia and Irvine, California; a New York Times best-selling author and internationally known preacher.

Saturday April 18th will be a full day of getting closer to God, inspiring all to reach the nations and become leaders to rescue a young generation. Worship will be led by Israel and New Breed whilst Tye Tribbett and his wife Shante will speak on 'The Trouble with the Opposite Sex'. Plans for this full day broadcast include many more concert performances, hip-hop dance and inspirational messages by Ron Luce and Erwin McManus, who is an author, speaker, activist, filmmaker and innovator who specializes in developing personal and organizational creativity.

"GOD TV is passionate about reaching the youth of today" said GOD TV co-founder and director of television, Wendy Alec, "and we are delighted to partner with Ron and our friends at Teen Mania to extend this important youth event to the nations. Today's youth don't want anything superficial, they want to see the raw power of God and I believe they will be really challenged as they watch BattleCry LIVE from New York City."

BattleCry NYC can be watched on GOD TV on Friday April 17 at 8pm and on Saturday April 18 at 8.30 am and 10.30am as well as at 1.30 pm and 6.30 pm (EST).
