Mandisa Embarking on National Tour this February

After selling out numerous stops nationwide on her spring co-headlining tour with comedian Anita Renfroe, Mandisa will return this spring as she headlines the “Girls Night Live” tour. Sponsored by well-known philanthropic organization Food For the Hungry, fellow GMA Dove Award nominee Britt Nicole and “Blessings” songstress Laura Story will join the bill. Starting in early February, the tour will visit nearly 40 markets and will wrap in May. As part of the “Girls Night Live” tour, Mandisa will partner with local radio hosts to lead all concert goers in a dance fitness routine to her catchy track “Good Morning” as part of Mandisa’s live show. Contest winners from the radio promotion will also win meet & greets and a chance to appear on stage during the song. The multiple GRAMMY ® nominee will also be placing an instructional video online of “Good Morning’s” dance routine.

Due out on Valentine’s Day, Audrey Assad’s highly anticipated sophomore album, Heart, finds her once again collaborating with other songwriters (including Matt Maher and Derek Webb) and producer Marshall Altman (Brooke Fraser, Natasha Bedingfield, Marc Broussard), crafting another collection of songs that mine the depths of both heart and soul as only Assad can.

IMMERSE, the Gospel Music Association’s Music Training Experience, is pleased to announce the first confirmed artists for the July conference. Those set to appear include Grammy® and Dove Award winner Michael W. Smith, Dove Award winner Chris August, and popular indie-minded artist, Derek Webb, Additional announcements will be made in the coming weeks.

On Sunday, July 22, Michael W. Smith welcomes registrants in an evening worship service featuring yet to be named special guest artists and industry professionals. This event will prove to be an unforgettable night for attendees dedicated to song, inspiration, focus and prayer.

Monday evening, July 23, an eclectic collection of artists will be performing in a special event exclusively for IMMERSE attendees. Chris August, Derek Webb and Remedy Drive will all be featured, performing favorite songs and sharing wisdom and road stories. Additional artists are pending. This intimate Monday night concert is always a favorite for attendees.
